Revd. Dr. James Hughes has been vicar of the United Benefice of Duffield and Little Eaton since September 2016. Since June 2020 James has been the sole minister with pastoral responsibility for Little Eaton.

He is married to Kirsty, and they have four children. Before coming to Duffield and Little Eaton James was Minister of Christ Church, Greenbank in Chester Diocese, having served his curacy in Guildford diocese from 2003 to 2007. His PhD is in Paul’s doctrine of the Church, particularly focussing on relationships between churches in the New Testament.

James Rollin

Licenced Lay Minister [LLM(R)] for Discipleship & Evangelism

James is the Licenced Lay Minister for Discipleship & Evangelism. He has been working for St Alkmund’s church since November 2019. He is married to Emma and they have two children, Tom and Nancy. As Licenced Lay Minister for Discipleship & Evangelism, his role includes leading and speaking at Sunday services and various midweek meetings, together with supporting a range of other activities and events (particularly discipleship and evangelism) across the life of the church, and also at our sister church, St Alkmund’s, Duffield.

Originally from Doncaster, James has been worshipping in the Benefice since moving to Derbyshire and joining the church in 2001. In his spare time, James plays the electric bass and guitar and enjoys music, as well as Formula One and classic cars!

Revd. Jim Wigglesworth MA

Curate

Revd. Jim Wigglesworth MA is the Curate of the United Benefice of Duffield and Little Eaton since June 2025. Before training for the priesthood Jim worked for a global evangelistic and apologetics ministry, and prior to that was a professional rugby player. His postgraduate thesis was on mystical theology and analytical psychology. Jim is married to Jasmine, and they have two young girls. He was also born and raised in the Benefice.

Adam O’Dowd

Children and Youth Worker

Adam is a music graduate from Lancashire who came to the Benefice after two years interning with students and children at Cornerstone Nottingham, his church while at university. James is married to Hannah, and together they have a passion for sharing the Gospel with young people whether that is through drama, puppets, games or just genuine fellowship with the young people they have the pleasure to meet. James is an avid movie lover, even keeping a spreadsheet rating every movie he has ever seen, he also does digital art & world build/writing in his spare time.

Hannah Munro

Secretary

Hannah joined the team in June 2025, after working Locally as a Dog groomer for 3 years.
She is an animal lover and enjoys training her pets to do tricks.
Hannah is Married to James Munro who is one of the Children and Youth Workers here.
